Dip your toes into FreeCAD, the best engineering 3D modeling software which is truly free to use for any purpose and is totally and completely offline.

While FreeCAD has mixed reviews, this last year has included some astounding improvements and deserves more credit than it has in the past. Don’t be deceived by old reviews modern FreeCAD is powerful!

We will not only simplify the UI to get past that hurdle, but will build a solid foundation for understanding how FreeCAD treats its tools and features so even when you get stuck, you know how to find the answer to keep moving forward.

* UI and Workflow
* Core components to making models
* 2D Sketches / Drawings
* 3D tools you apply to Sketches
* Understanding the TreeView and Nesting
* Why things break and how to fix them
* Variables and References
* Practice Models to take home and keep learning

By the end of this class you will feel capable to start making your own models at home and the core information keep learning right away.

You MUST come with:
1. A Laptop with FreeCAD v1.1 installed
